I hate when people automatically assume that my mom doesn't give a shit about me because she lets me come to Ohio and stay for the Summer with my boyfriend. I think that's pretty cool of her, not many mother's would let their daughters do that. I love my mother, I don't need her to hold me constantly and tell me that everything's going to be okay. She's done a great job raising me. Just because she doesn't give me a curfew or allows me to spend the night at my boyfriend's house doesn't mean she sucks as a mom. It means she trusts me not to do anything stupid.
